TransphobiaHatred and/or discrimination against people who break or blur gender roles and sex characteristics (see sexism). Transphobia is managed by a gender regime that says we are either man or woman, and can come from either the straight or gay community. Transphobia appears in the forms of job, housing, and medical discrimination, difficulty in adopting children, discharge from the military, and emotional and physical violence, etc.See also: Gender Regime, Sexism, Transgender, Transsexual
